In Search of the DrastaIn print Summer 2009 |
Braun Tapesh is the chief scientist for the planet E’Loi. He had saved his planet through his advanced scientific knowledge, as he would tell anyone who asked or who even happened to be standing in the vicinity. Through a small mistake on his part, he finds himself on a rescue mission. Thrown into his own science experiment, he is tossed across the universe to a far-distance planet called Earth. Soon, he is transporting from planet-to-planet with a human, a princess, and a half-dwarf in tow, which would be bad enough without the fact he had been transported into a body that was not his own!
Review:
“I always know when it's a good read when I feel like I
have returned from a journey rather than finished a story.
In Search of the Drasta was one of these tales.
In this respect it's up there with Stephen King's 'The Stand' and Stephen Laws' 'Somewhere South of Midnight', to name a couple.
Bursting at the seams with great characters , it has a similar atmosphere to Clive Barker's 'Abarat'.”
